Read the film as text
  1. 1. Add the connector: Praxikon is added to the assistant from the Claude directory, or with the address https://www.praxikon.com/api/mcp.
  2. 2. Ask a question: "We want AI to pre-screen applicants on their CVs. What do we need to arrange?"
  3. 3. The assistant calls the Praxikon functions check_case and classify_system.
  4. 4. The answer: Likely high risk, DPIA required. High risk: recruitment and staff: likely, from 2 December 2027 (Annex III, point 4, Art. 6(2) and (3) AI Act). Obligations as deployer: likely, from 2 December 2027 (Art. 26 AI Act). DPIA: required (Art. 35(1) GDPR). AI literacy: applies, since 2 February 2025 (Art. 4 AI Act). Source: AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, consolidated text of 27 July 2026. General information, not tailored advice.
  5. 5. "Can I talk to someone about this?" The assistant calls request_expert_review and offers a 30 minute call with Zahed Ashkara.

Try it

Three questions to start with

Copy a question and paste it into your assistant once Praxikon is added. Names of people or organisations are not needed.

  • Municipality

“Our municipality wants a model that calculates a fraud risk score for every social assistance application. Is that high risk, and do we need a DPIA and a FRIA?”

    check_case · classify_system

  • Recruitment

“We want AI to pre-screen applicants on their CVs. Which AI Act and GDPR obligations apply, and from when?”

    check_case · get_applicable_obligations

  • Supervisor

“Which authority supervises the AI Act in the Netherlands, and which rulings and decisions on algorithms are there already?”

    get_national_enforcement · get_source_provenance

Limits

What it does and what it does not

What it does

  • Tells whether an AI system is likely high risk, with the route through Annex III or Annex I.
  • Lists the obligations per role, provider or deployer, with the date they apply.
  • Checks a case against the GDPR and the AI Act: DPIA, Article 22, FRIA and Article 50.
  • Shows the source for every statement, with version and locator.
  • Shows the supervisory authorities and known enforcement per member state.
  • Offers a call with Zahed Ashkara, only when you ask for it.

What it does not do

  • No tailored advice: it is general information based on fixed rules.
  • No decision about your organisation; that responsibility stays with you.
  • No guarantee that your assistant summarises it correctly. Check the article through the source link.
  • No storage of your question or case.
  • No selling: there are no prices or payments in the assistant.

The connector needs no account and sets no cookies, and Praxikon does not store your question: only an anonymous count per function per day (section 2.7 of the privacy statement).

The functions

Nine functions, read only

Your assistant picks the function that fits. None of them writes or stores anything.

classify_system
Is a system likely high risk, and through which route?
get_applicable_obligations
Which obligations apply to your role, with status and date?
explain_applicability
Why does an obligation apply or not, step by step?
check_case
A case checked against the GDPR and the AI Act, with fixed answer choices.
export_dpia_intake
The same choices as a Word file: a link to the DPIA intake, and where it applies the FRIA draft too, built in your own browser.
get_source_provenance
Which official source does a statement come from, which version and which locator?
get_national_enforcement
Who supervises per member state, and which enforcement is known?
answer_question
A short general question about the AI Act or the GDPR, answered with the published answer and its sources.
request_expert_review
A link for a call with Zahed Ashkara, only at your request.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a Claude connector or MCP server?

An MCP server is a connection under the open Model Context Protocol that lets an AI assistant request data from another service. Claude calls such a connection a connector, ChatGPT an app. Praxikon is such a connection for the AI Act and the GDPR.

Is it free?

Yes. The connector is free and needs no account and no login. Nothing is sold inside the assistant.

Does it work with a free Claude account?

That depends on your Claude plan, and it can change. The listing in the Claude directory shows whether you can connect.

Does it work in ChatGPT?

You can add Praxikon to ChatGPT as your own app through developer mode, with the address on this page. Whether that is available depends on your plan. There is no listing in the ChatGPT directory yet.

Is this legal advice?

No. Praxikon gives general information based on fixed rules, with the source attached. It makes no decision about your organisation. If you want a view on your situation, book a call with Zahed Ashkara.

Which laws does it cover?

The AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, as amended by the Digital Omnibus, Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) and the GDPR, with the official guidelines and the supervisory authorities per member state.

What happens to my question?

Your assistant sends only what is needed, such as fixed answer codes about your system. For a short general question the assistant sends only that question, at most 200 characters and without names. Praxikon does not store any of this and does not log the content. What your assistant itself keeps of the conversation falls under that provider’s terms.

How do I talk to a person?

Ask in the assistant; it then gives a link for a 30 minute call. Or book the call with Zahed Ashkara directly below.

Rather talk it through first?

In 30 minutes Zahed Ashkara, AI and privacy legal adviser, looks at your AI use case with you and at what the GDPR and the AI Act require.
