Every relation appears below as a path: from the source with its locator, through the conditions and exceptions of the object carrying the relation, to the consequence. A locator belongs to a statement in the data and not to a relation, so the source is the source anchor of the carrying object.

What this object states

Official fact

Attributable to a named primary source, with a locator. Where they differ, the official source prevails.

  • By Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2274 of 12 October 2026 the Commission published the reference of EN 18286:2026 (Artificial intelligence: Quality management system for EU AI Act regulatory purposes) in the Official Journal of the European Union. The decision was published on 14 October 2026 and entered into force that day. From that date, compliance with the standard confers under Article 40(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 a presumption of conformity with the requirements the standard covers. The decision does not list those requirements article by article and attaches no restriction to the reference. According to recital 3 the standard concerns quality management systems for providers of AI systems, including post-market monitoring processes.
